Girl Power Clubs Africa is a women leadership program that trains teenage girls to become agents of positive change through sport, culture, art and dance.

• Girls do not have adequate information about life, and HIV-AIDS
• Girls do not get a chance to play sport and reap the benefits
• Girls lack role models
• Girls do not have any say about their bodies, do not make life decisions
• Girls in this community have voices which are often not heard
• Suffer from early unwanted pregnancy, rape and sexual violence
• Few have any economic independence/do not manage money and have no savings
